Gather in Kresge Hall on Tuesdays at 5pm for live music and fellowship with others. The 5 O’clock Rush Series is more than just a concert. It’s a place for individuals to connect to a loving community.
5 O’Clock Rush Schedule
Jacob Hart represents the next generation of jazz musicians, combining technical mastery, compositional talent, and professional maturity at a young age. With multiple recordings, festival appearances, and collaborations with established artists, he continues to make a significant impact on the Detroit jazz scene and beyond.
The Jacob Hart Trio, Jacob Hart-piano, EJ Dafflin-bass, and Jacob Sheard-drums are students at the Detroit School of Arts.
The trio will open for Sharon Love-Jones at the next 5 O'clock Rush, May 19.
